Discoveries

            Germain over the course of her life made many mathematical equations. She created the equation,

which won her the Paris Academy of Sciences Award and became the first woman ever to win the award. And in 1829, while suffering from breast cancer, she published her paper on the curvature of elastic surfaces and which was a note about finding y and z.

All of her work and discoveries are fascinating to the modern scientists and mathematicians and are studies and observed everyday. Not a day goes by when people don't appreciate her work.
